The New Jersey Suicide Prevention Hopeline (NJ Hopeline) was launched in May of 2013. Funded by the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services and operated by Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care through our National Call Center. Their mission is to provide support, assessment and, if needed, intervention in the most cooperative and least restrictive manner to New Jersey residents in emotional distress and suicidal crisis.
