Share Food Program

Share Food Program is a nonprofit that has historically operated 350 regional food cupboards in Philadelphia and surrounding counties. As reported by NBC10, Share Food Program recently launched a food delivery service to people with disabilities and seniors. Called “Knock, Drop, and Roll,” Share Food Program and its volunteers have already made deliveries to thousands of homebound Philadelphians who could not otherwise access free food. Whenever there is an unmet need, Share and its partners always rise to the occasion.

Share does more than food delivery to people with disabilities. Since the start of the pandemic, Share Food Program has been a leading partner in the City of Philadelphia’s COVID19 response: in just March 2020, Share nearly tripled their volume of food deliveries to include 40 “supersites” across the City. These supersites are providing 32,000 boxes of food, during two weekly distributions.
